N's vehicle Inquiry (FR) using high frequency words with careful pronunciation.

Here is evidence of our Student Driven Inquiry on Firefighting vehicles. It began with students reading about Fire Engines, then discovering that different vehicles could fight fires. They drew pictures and labeled the Air Tanker and Tug Boat. The problem solving began when the boat house they built was too small for  J's boat. Eventually, it was decided that the boat was waterproof anyway, and the real problem was getting such a big boat into the water...so they built a ramp. M, made a floating airport for her air tanker. She needed a ready source of water for her plane if she was going to fight forest fires. K, built a firehall for his truck. M, kept reading about firefighting and A, decided to go green. He made a spaceship to collect space garbage. N, practiced her high frequency French words with an app. F.M.M. putting the article in front of the word being careful not to pronounce the h.
